A composition of the most neglected emotive impusle by no more of a literalist than the Andulusian Ibn Hazm (ra). A great example of the breadth of knowledge typical of the classical age. Whereas now we are satisfied with pamphlets as literary accomplishments and calcified religious thought that lacks any impulse. The particular neglect of love often only leaves room for only hate.

Umm the numbers in the intext citations do not show up so it is hard to refer them to their respective footnote.

and can you please explain more on what Abdur-Rahman ibn Al-Jawzi says?? And the linguist?? I’m in third year Arabic at Hunter College. But I do not understand what it says about the Idaafa sifa nu’t and what not. (even though I know the terms.)
Everything else is clear. Can you please just expand on that.
